Canice Mok is currently a Senior Policy and Strategic Initiatives Advisor at The Regional Municipality of York (York Region). In this role, he supports the Director, Strategy & Transformation/Deputy Treasurer with a diverse portfolio of business planning, payroll, accounts receivable/payables, office services, financial modernization and workforce planning. He started his civil service career with York Region in the Finance Department’s Accelerated Advancement for Analysts (Triple A) program and moved through progressively more responsible roles until his current position. In addition to being on IPAC TRG’s board, he also volunteers his time for several non-profit organizations in the community. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Certified Human Resources Professional, with graduate and undergraduate degrees in accounting.
